It might still be summer, but the volunteers for Lights on the River are already thinking wintery thoughts. Lights on the River is going into its fourth year, and is currently scheduled to start Saturday, December 14th and run through Sunday, December 22nd from 5pm-9pm each night at the Lisbon Beach and Campground.
This year, Lights on the River will benefit the following food pantries: Canton Church and Community, Canton Neighborhood Center, Hammond Neighborhood Center, Heuvelton Food Pantry, Lisbon Food Pantry, Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach, Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, Waddington Family and Resource Center.
This year Lights on the River is expanding the display area, and is looking to continue our growth. We encourage displays from businesses, groups, organizations and families throughout the North Country. It is FREE to enter a display and it’s an opportunity to showcase your holiday spirit to thousands of people coming from all over the North Country and Canada.
Lights on the River is a 501(c)(3) local non-profit charity that helps local food pantries. Over the past 3 years, with the public’s assistance, Lights on the River has donated over $32,000 to local food pantries.
